It's been 25 years since I opened my showroom, Charles Spada Fabrics and Antiques. Formerly at the Boston Design Center, we have re-located to the SoWa Art and Design District in Boston’s South End. With the launch of our new space, it seemed that the introduction of Charles Spada Home was a natural progression. I invite you to explore, and hope that you will enjoy these treasures as much as we have enjoyed hunting them down and presenting them to you.

In the early ’90’s I discovered and began collecting these amazingly beautiful, remarkably delicate and precisely executed French needlepoints on silk executed end of the 18th - turn of the 19th century. The precision and artistry of the maker boggles the mind in these embroidered and painted country scenes of the day. Almost always found in their original gilded frames they are a collection worth pursuing.
